Villa Canal Grande (VCG) is a prestigious property located in the centre of Italy, positioned on the top of The Marche Region hills, nearby the beautiful Adriatic coast; scenery and atmosphere very similar to Tuscany Region. Originally built around the year 1800, the Villa has always been considered a luxury, but peaceful, estate by its previous owners, the Count and Countess Scarfiotti, a very wealthy and notorious family from Milan.
In 1990 an entrepreneur from Venice had the opportunity to visit VCG and was fortunate to make it his own after the purchase in the same year. With the help of minded Italian architects, VCG was entirely renovated with very fine materials such as the white Carrara marble, but by maintaining its original style and architecture. Over the years VCG became the perfect location for executive business meetings, important events, private retreats, and up to today it is considered as one of the most regarded venues for nearby corporations and for wedding and event planners.
VCG comprises of about 30,000 sq mt (323,000 sq ft) park, with a mansion in its centre of about 1,000 sq mt (10,800 sq ft) and developed over 4 floors. The mansion has a total of 11 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. The remaining rooms and space offer numerous living rooms and dining rooms, a billiard room, a very large kitchen with storage, a laundry room, and a gym, all being very well exposed to large windows giving the resident a great sense of brightness and space. A terrace on the second floor and a rooftop terrace on the fourth floor allow for creative ideas and usage, such as wonderful ceremonies or private functions.
The park is fully fenced and comprises of an elegant way to the mansion surrounded by secular threes, olives threes, and dozens of fruit trees. Via small and elegant footpaths, the mansion is connected with a breathtaking and large swimming pool and barbeque area, a professional tennis court, a consecrated chapel originally built in the 1400s, and a guesthouse with 3 bedroom and separate entrance that has been used in the past for the employees of the estate, but that can be converted or detached for different purpose.
VCG is surrounded by 5 hectares (13 acres) of some 1,000 olive trees from which it is harvested and produced a superb and 100% certified organic extra virgin olive oil.
